Badass Kung Fu Demigods

NOTE: This is a playtest version. Expect placeholders, rough concepts and future versions incorporating rules still in-progress or changes in response to feedback. I'll mention if a new version has been uploaded. 

Badass Kung Fu Demigods is a high-powered action RPG meant to deliver high-octane, earth-shattering and off-the-wall (or through the wall…then the building…and then the next…) mayhem and epic adventure. The system is a fusion of my favorite concepts and mechanics, such as…

· Player-defined background elements. 
· Using all my different funny dice (except d20s, sorry guys).  
· Exploding dice to give open-ended results. 
· Over the top power levels. 

More generally, it’s a game meant to emulate the sort of crazy, escalating level of power you see in martial arts anime, Bollywood action movies and epic mythology. The system is designed for high-powered gaming: characters who can crush mountains or demolish cities right out of the gate.  

BAKFDG is fairly traditional in form: 4-6 players with one taking the role of GM to run NPCs and keep the plot spinning.
